The whole towncenter of Napier consists of Art Deco buildings although until the 80th old buildings have been replaced. But then the great cultural treasure has been seen. Today all the buildings look as they did in the 30th.

Noch heute besteht die gesamte Innenstadt Napiers aus Art Deco Gebäuden. Obwohl bis in die 80er Jahre kein Interesse am Art Deco bestand und einige Gebäude abgerissen wurden, erkannte man dann den großen Wert der Gebäude, sowohl kulturhistorisch aber insbesondere für den Tourismus. Heute erstrahlen alle Gebäude in altem Glanz.
